Is Organic Milk Healthier
for Your Baby?

I believe organic milk is healthier than regular commercial milk.

The use antibiotics, hormones, and genetically modified organisms to intensify production in today’s conventional dairy practices gives rise to serious health concerns.

For people seeking to reduce their risk of exposure to toxins associated with factory farming practices, organics offers peace of mind.

Organic dairy farming is free of hormones, pesticides, and antibiotics and the animals are treated humanely.

Now the bad news. You should avoid all dairy products (except yogurt after 4 months) for your baby.

I know, I know...we all like dairy. I love cheese (fermented products are better) and ice cream, just try to keep these to a minimum.

Milk was intended for baby cows not baby humans, that's one of the reasons so many people have problems with dairy.

Humans are the only species to continue consuming milk after weaning!

Although...an occasional organic dairy treat in an otherwise healthy diet is good for the soul. Oh, that soul food!

So what is a safe, healthy alternative to organic milk and organic dairy?

Organic soy products of course.

Just make sure all soy is organic. Something like 80% of conventional soy products on the market today are genetically altered! Yuck. Not what what our creator intended for us, at all.

The good news is organic soy products are good for your baby.

Organic soy milk and organic tofu both contain isofavones which have been shown to reduce the rate of some cancers.

Facts:

• Organic soy products are easily digested.
• Rejuvenates glands.
• Has no cholesterol.

Tammi's Tidbits: Babies don't miss what they've never had. My first son didn't have any sugar until after he was five years old, when he went to school (school helped unravel a lot of my teachings).

Babies do not need sugar or salt.

Try mixing organic tofu with some nutrient packed organic fruit baby food.
