Organic happenings all around us... going green, take action petitions, organic restaurants, organic celebrities and organic entertainment.
You can make a difference on many levels. Participating in a number of ways, will benefit you and the environment.
Eat at a restaurant that buys it's supplies locally, add your name to a worth while organic petition, organize an organic happening for a world wide campaign, join an organic food co-op, and the list goes on.
What ever steps you can incorporate into your life, remember, an organic lifestyle just naturally spreads the wealth of health to everyone and everything around you!
Recently I wrote (along with many others) an e-mail to a national store chain, telling them of my disappointment in their decision to air commercials during a rather distasteful program.
A day later, I received a reply e-mail, letting me know that they appreciated my concerns and were removing their advertisements from the show!
It was so exciting, knowing that my voice was heard and I had made a difference!
Now that's empowering. That e-mail took just a few minutes to write, I was acknowledged immediately, and my objective was accomplished!
Make your voice heard in just the few minutes it takes to spend, or not to spend. Worldwide spending habits are tracked by a variety of sources and is the easiest way to be heard!
Consider the following:
Shop at green businesses, drive 55, rent a DVD or video instead of going to the movie theater, drive less, organize a national awareness event locally, spend or donate at local organic happenings, use and buy organic products, consider renewable energy sources to power your home, buy less stuff, sign an organic petition, turn stuff off, recycle, carpool, and buy locally farmed produce and meats.
I told you the "list goes on".
Taking action doesn't have to be painful. Just do what we Americans have been encouraged to do...shop!
Shop Powerfully!
