Organic Food Balance Challenge

Organic food balance can play an important roll in your organic diet to fight and protect against disease.

It is impossible for disease to grow in a properly balanced acid-alkaline body!

The zone of optimal health is small, a pH level of 7.36 to pH 7.42. Anywhere outside of this level leaves you open to sickness and death.

Most of us are on the acidic side of the equation, you must balance this out.

An acidic body will feel a lack of energy, frequently feels cold, loss of enthusiasm, be irritable, have headaches, develop ulcers, the list goes on and on.

Without getting all technical, you should eat more alkaline foods than acidic foods for the optimal organic diet.

Alkalizing Foods:

Organic potatoes, organic green vegetables, organic colored vegetables, (except tomatoes), organic corn, organic milk, organic cottage cheese, organic butter, organic bananas, organic almonds, organic dates and raisins, organic black olives, organic avocados, organic cold pressed oils, organic sugar, organic chestnuts, and organic Brazil nuts.

Acidifying Foods:

All meats and seafood, eggs, cheeses, (the stronger the cheese, the more acidic), animal fats (lard), vegetable oils, whole and refined grains (breads, pastas, and cereals), legumes, white sugar, walnuts, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, coffee, tea, cocoa, wine, mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup.

Tammi's Tidbits: To keep your organic food balance in check eat one organic protein and one organic carb a day, never at the same time. Add in as many organic fruits and veggies as you want but eat your fruit by itself, at least an hour before or after other foods.

Your body also has to be able to expel acids properly.

This is done through the kidneys, skin and lungs.

The most important thing you can do to maintain these organs properly for this job is drinking your water. Especially after urination, replace the liquid expelled by drinking a glass of steam distilled water.

Following these simple tips will keep your organic nutrition working over-time for your organic health.
