Organic Bathroom

organic bathroom babies

An organic bathroom is vital to your organic health, why? Your skin is considered a bodily organ, and therefore the largest organ of your body.

Everything you put on your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream.

The organic bathroom challenge:

If you can't eat it, don't put it on your skin!

Do not coat, clean or soak your skin with anything man made.

See my homemade organic skin care recipes here.

Chemicals, toxins and dangerous carcinogens are found in products like toothpaste, soaps, shampoos, lotions, and deodorants.

Fluoride is registered as a pesticide for killing rodents!

Fluoride was originally a byproduct of the fertilizer making process.

Many scientists believe it is linked to learning disabilities and cancer.

Try using aluminum free baking soda to clean you teeth.

Tammi's Tidbits: For organic teeth whitening try aluminum free baking soda with 1 or 2 drops of peroxide. Brush on, let sit for a few minutes, then rinse.

A baking soda and salt mixture can also restore the shine of dingy teeth, just dip a wet toothbrush into the soda and sprinkle with sea salt.

Look at your label on your shampoo or lotion.

The most common ingredient is sodium lauryl sulfate. This chemical adds thickness and lather, but is also used in industrial applications like cleaning oil from car engines!

I don't know about you, but my hair never gets greasy enough to warrant that strength of de-greaser.

Check out my organic hair care recipes here.

There are many organic health products and organic skin care products on the market to help you protect yourself from these potential poisons.

aluminum is poison

Deodorants use aluminum to block your sweat ducts.

Aluminum has been linked to learning disabilities, Alzheimer's, and organ dysfunction, just to name a few.

These products also contain parabens, a commonly used preservative.

Parabens have been linked to breast cancer. Due to their interaction with estrogen, they have been found to cause tumors.

Take the organic bath challenge!

Choose organic skin care products and reduce your exposure to cancer causing chemicals.

Organic consumers, like you, realize buying or using organic home products and organic health products in your organic bathroom is the best way to protect your skin from absorbing potentially dangerous chemicals and toxins.

Organic products work just as well, if not better than, the conventional products you use.

Remember that if demand is high enough, mainstream stores will start to carry more organic products.
